Leslie Griswold has been working in the jewelry business since 2000. With a background in project management and software design, she brings an attention to detail and quirky creativity that her clients enjoy and value. Leslie is an Accredited Jeweler Professional and has a Graduate Diamond Degree from the Gemological Institute of America (though she usually tells people she attended Sparkle School.) Whether designing the perfect engagement ring or resetting family gems into a new piece of jewelry, she focuses on keeping clients involved in every step of the design process.
Starla Morton began her jewelry career in 1997. After working for a variety of jewelry stores including: Gold Bloom Jewelers, the Vault Gallery, Davidson & Licht, and Zales, Starla joined E. R. Sawyer Jewelers in 2003. Throughout her career, she has held several management positions. She is familiar with over 100 industry designers and techniques, custom design, Matrix 3D design, and has an art background. Starla is also an Accredited Jewelry Professional through American Gem Society and Gemological Institute of America. She is currently enrolled in Gemological Institute of America courses and upon completion will become a Graduate Gemologist.
Morgan Griswold brings a longtime love of jewelry and fresh ideas to the sales floor. She started her jewelry experience by working directly with our Repair Shop, quickly learning the details and mechanics that go into restoring and designs pieces. This training, along with her love of restoring and resetting family jewelry, brings an attention to detail and excitement to the sales floor. Besides training alongside our incredible shop staff and knowledgeable sales associates, Morgan is planning to attend the Gemological Institute of America to become a Graduate Gemologist.
Certified Gemologist Appraiser & Fellow of the Gemological Association of Great Britain
Patricia Rickard is a Certified Gemologist Appraiser & Fellow of the Gemological Association of Great Britain. With over 30 years in the gem and jewelry trade, her career encompasses retail design and appraisal, management of a wholesale gemstone operation, and was an independent gem dealer and appraiser. Patricia has earned the prestigious Certified Gemologist Appraiser accreditation, a distinction held by only 400 American Gem Society Jewelers in North America. This is the highest level of achievement in the jewelry industry.
Her professional affiliations include her involvement as an American Gem Trade Association exhibitor at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show for the past 24 years, attendance at the Gemological Institute of America Symposium and numerous American Gem Society conclaves. Patricia is a member of the Gemological Institute of America alumni association, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts in Metalsmithing.

Alfredo Jimenez began his career with E.R. Sawyer Jewelers as an intern in May of 2014. Over the time of his internship, Alfredo grew to love the jewelry industry and business aspect that comes along with it. Upon his graduation from Elsie Allen High School, he began studying at the Santa Rosa Junior College in order to pursue his degree in business administration with a minor in website development. He enjoys the practicality and experience of applying his newly acquired knowledge at work as an administrative assistant and website content manager.
With 22 years of experience in the jewelry industry, Urbano Mogollan has earned the designation of Lead Goldsmith. He is a Certified Hearts on Fire® Service Technician, Certified Watch Technician, Certified Jeweler of American Bench Jeweler Technician, Laser Welding Specialist, and creates custom waxes for custom jewelry. Urbano believe in continuing education and frequently attends training on new techniques and skills. He takes a leadership role and encourages the other members of the team to do likewise.
Israel Martinez began working at E.R. Sawyer in 2004. Israel attended the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco, successfully completing three different courses of jewelry craftsmanship. Israel’s passion and devotion for his art has earned him the title of lead watch technician and engraving specialist. He looks to further expand his knowledge and skills by continuing to attend training and technical workshops.
